Tourmalines from the Neuschwaben region of Namibia are considered some of the rarest and finest tourmalines ever found, they display a highly saturated deep bluish green hue that is almost exclusively found in Neuschwaben, Namibia. Only a very small amount has ever been uncovered, of which most was discovered in the 1960's. Artisanal miners still actively look for these rare tourmalines, with only small less saturated crystal specimens being found on rare occasions. To have a perfectly colour matching gradiated set such as this is unique.
