WATERMELON TOURMALINE
Watermelon tourmaline is a rare gemstone that exhibits a mesmerizing color gradient reminiscent of its namesake fruit. Scientifically it is also known as bi-color tourmaline, this is due to the different elements it encounters during its growth. The most beautiful watermelon tourmalines are found in Brazil, where it grows in cracks of cooled magma. Tourmalines are to be worn with caution for scratches, impacts and heat.
